Against 5* and 22 I have 25% Equity, with the direct turn odds I need 29%. So I guess the question is if I' looking at implieds or reverse implieds. If i improve I dont see many hands calling that are worse, but I can't call the turn and fold an improved river to a bet, so it sounds more like hes the one with the implieds....

it comes down to who villain is. as played, I probably not folding ott (as we likely to have extra outs with OESD)

Yes, unlikely he ever leads with QQxx here, so I will call turn and reavaluate the river. You have live cards to improve on and the gutshot can be good as well.
There's also a lot of villains that lead all the hands that they dont want to check call in spots like these. So hands like bare flushdraws, wraps, etc. He might also be doing it 'for protection' with AA or KK. Overall I think you absolutely have to call at least turn and figure it out on the river.
