with given spr and 2 players left to act - I'd probably just call. just think how bad are you doing vs pair+better FD. as played and go 5$ OTT (b\call) and shove any river (exept spades if his aggro one) - meaning c/call
" shove any river" do you shove on king and 8 rivers as well? If yes why? I would be worried to run into a fullhouse with twopair.
Legit play. I would raise less or bet less OTT; a smaller sizing should have the same effect with a more profitable outcome if improved.
i'm not sure about 8\5, as he's likely to herocall w\ Kxxx, but if K hits the river - he could still have basted draws and there aren't too many Kx combos as 2 kings are on the bord. so I'd probably shove. you'll need your river bluff too work out less then 30% of the time.
yeah, we block a lot of draws, which makes his made hands (K+) more likely, but then to avoid getting into such situation you should have considered flatting OTF ;)
I would consider folding pre. If sb doesn't call you can call. Your hand does much better heads up than multiway.
i would probably just call flop. BN cbet looks like a draw, I figure he would bet bigger for protection w a made hand. As played, you look like a set, so I would def shove that river.
Unless you have a read that BN is tricky..
Actually i'm unsure about pre. If sb folds calling and 3betting seem fine. squeezing might be an option but i'd much prefer to get this HU.
I guess folding pre does seem too weak. I don't like the flop raise. just try to play a small pot and bluff good cards/ bluffcatch otr.
Thanks for the replies, I did write my won thoughts but something went wrong when posting. My idea behind raising was that I can't really expect to get any money when I hit. A flush will be very obvious and be called by better flushes only, and trips or 2pair will be at the bottom end, maybe even below, of my valuerange on the turn.
As for the river play: I have 3$ left...guess I can actually valuebet then if I improve. I think a rather interesting question is if I can bluff profitably? It seems very unlikely that villain just calls the turn with a set or 2pair when I have that little behind, so he might drawing as well and if I bet 3$ in a pot of 18$, I only need him to fold 14% to break even.
