Villian seems to be a solid player. I am not having many hands on him though.

Is there something bad in my play? Or played fine?

seems line fine vs unknown.

we could consider c/r ott, planning shove river, if it bricks (if we know he barrels a lot) he shouldn't have too many hands for bet-gii ott.

as played river just c/f, I guess.

I feel like this could be a good hand and good board texture to semi bluff with.  I expect to get called some portion of the time but we have a lot of good turn cards to barrel (Q,J,T,9,8,7,3 and any diamonds).  So much of villains range has to be over pairs at this point with our top set blocker and a 3 on board just see him having a hard time against some pressure.  Also we can c/r small given board texture and leave enough to fire on turn and river to get folds from one pair hands.

if  makes sense for sure, though I'd prefer to be IP for this move.

what about raising ott? this way we rep sets even more credibly(but risking not 12-15bbs but the stack)

It's so hard to float profitably in PLO OOP and the only reason I am a little hesitant with this hand is because all of the good turns other than suits look exactly like good turn cards for our range.  Sure we have the equity to continue with the hand but I think by waiting for good turn cards we allowing villain to play a lot of his range correct and put him into a better position than us on rivers.

Also when we x/r the turn we are in a bit tricky of a SPR nightmare.  We would have to commit ~$93 (I am not sure if we can ever x/r/f with our hand) in order to attack an $11 cbet ($17 pot)

Flop we could c/r to 11.50 POT ~30

barrel good turns ( I probably barrel all turns over than A or K) to 13-20 depending on connected and suit.    POT ~56-70

We now have the initiative on the river and about a PSB.  We can fire again and now for our full stack we have tried to realize FE and hand equity over three streets.  Instead of just good turns.

are you also x/r your Q8xx hands here? otherwise I would guess you would be bluffing bit too much here vs value hands

Yea a lot of my Q8 hands would be in my c/r range special considering that a lot of them have connecting hands and backdraws in the event that I run into sets.

c/r/gii range looks like QQ, 88, JT9, good Q8,

c/r/f Qxxx with good barrelling cards (like this hand), hands that have strong wrap potential (where I have hit the pivot cards AKJ, KJT8

c/c 33, Q8 (weaker hands), Qxxx hands (not as many good turn cards but still some BD equity AQs76s and such) The best of 8xxx hands like T987ss

Some c/r/gii and c/r/f hands will be in my donking range depending on reads, dynamics and game flow.

Not sure how balanced this is but I think it should be fine.  If someone figures this is too exploitable than sure I will find out tomorrow and we can discuss it from there, however my assumptions are that most players cbet these boards to often, and a buttons range will be very wide and contain a lot of disconnected hands that will have a hard time contining to further barrels.
