Playing My Entire Range on a Paired Board
I've been trying to work on figuring out how to play my entire range in different spots. I've been doing this, by trying to figure out a somewhat optimal way to play my range and then determine how I would adjust my ranges based on different player types/tendencies.
Situation: I face an open from the SB (40% range) and 3bet (15% range) and SB calls. Flop is 988 rainbow.
I've constructed my flop range when cked to as follows and would like some advice on it.
Value bets: Trips or better (18%)
Value Checks: 9-AA w/ an OE, 2 backdoor flush draws, or 1 backdoor flush draw & a nut gutshot; nut OE, good wraps (27%)
Bluff bets: 9-AA (not included in value checks) & nut gutshots (36%)
Bluff Checks: Everything else (19%)
1) Should I move any of my trips+ hands in my value checking range and if so, would it be best to include the strongest or weakest ones?
2) Should I move any of my best AA & KK hands into a value betting range?
3) Should I check all of my AA & KK hands and bluff bet with more weak OE & gutshots?
I appreciate the help.

you want to bet with overpairs that have no additional equity besides a boat out, and u check back if you have a flushdraw, or straightdraw, or whatever since you have less to protect from. you definitely want to have the trips in your betting range since if u dont then u cant bluff either with air although there are some specific scenarios / opponents when u are checking
No real math or knowledge in this spot. But I agree with sorcloud for the most part.
Although I think it makes some sense to include your weaker trips (meaning hands like 8[7-][7-] in your ch range.
- Not getting it in crushing (might even be an underdog idk)
- If you cbet all of your trips (then when you check) on blank run outs opponent can use large bet sizes and include more bluffs in his range because he knows you always have a bluff catcher
- A lot of you weaker 8xxx hands will have cards that boat up when a straight completes, so that negates the need for protection a little bit.
