Playing AA** 3B in coordinated boards
SB: $354.48
BB: $508.20 (Hero)
UTG: $1122.66
HJ: $1429.32
CO: $604.91
UTG raises to $17.50, HJ folds, CO folds, BN folds, SB folds, Hero raises to $55, UTG calls $37.50
I understand this is a very common problem to have. Im working on my game and I started with these kind of situations. I feel I'm playing these spots in a way that is very exploitable, and I need advice for the most appropriate way to play them.
I don't have any volume of stats on this opponent.
Has the first mistake been made pre flop? Should i flat an UTG open (which probably has a strong/playable range) with Aces this weak OOP?
On the flop, what is the best play? I feel check calling (like I did in this situation) has to be very exploitable and weak, however, I cant find a good strategy for dealing with these kind of spots. Should I bet /fold? I cant really check / fold? I cant bet to get in stacks?(That can not be positive EV).
When I choose the line of check calling the flop I feel my hand is pretty much exposed, and Im need of a favorable turn card to realize equity. (In this situation I got probably one of the best turn cards to be aggressive) But if I hadn't gotten a favorable turn card, what am I supposed to do? Lets say I peel and X comes on the turn: 7*5*9*10*K* no spade. What is the proper action to take? Then do I check fold if he barrels?
Any advice to help me deal with playing 3b AAsemiblank in these kind of boards would be most appreciated.
EDIT: Is there any merit to leading the turn when I pick up additional outs in case of a Villain check back with good equity (ex: pair+strdraws)?
