PL25 3bp: combodraw on 998 facing passive c/c

Blinds: $0.10/$0.25 (6 Players) BN: $46.84
SB: $39.33
BB: $24.53
UTG: $11.84
MP: $26.40 (Hero)
CO: $23.43
villain appears reggy, tiny sample
Preflop ($0.35) Hero is MP with 5 7 K A
UTG folds, Hero raises to $0.75, 2 folds, SB raises to $2.50, BB folds, Hero calls $1.75
Flop ($5.25) 8 8 9
SB checks, Hero bets $3.30, SB calls $3.30
Since the board probably hit my range better than his and I flopped ok equity, I decided to bet planning to keep betting on a lot of turns cause his hand should mostly be capped to overpairs.
Turn ($11.85) 8 8 9 4
SB checks, Hero
I was unsure whether or not to continue here though. The 4 is a brick, brings another FD which he might have turned or renders my perceived range more drawheavy and he might even c/shove which is kinda unlikely but would nevertheless suck hard. So should I continue betting here or check back and take my equity, possibly bluff some rivers?
