Optimal Blinds VPIP in $0.5/$1 PLO 6-max
I feel like I'm spewing from the blinds, but am not sure...(I just started learning PLO two months ago). My VPIP by position is listed below:
BTN = 37.6%
CO = 24.7%
MP = 17.3%
EP = 14.7%
SB = 23.5%
BB = 21%
I'm showing a profit from every position except the blinds. Also, if anyone has an idea what a good "loss rate" from each blind is, please let me know. Right now I'm losing 55bb/100 from the BB and losing 33bb/100 from the SB.
Any advice is appreciated.

I really don't know what those numbers should be in PLO, but it's a starting point. It makes sense that they should be a bit worse in PLO, since position is so huge in this game, but then again PLO players generally play worse, so perhaps that evens out.
Playing OOP is hard, and if you lose more than you should from the blinds, your opponents at this level are probably making similar mistakes. So you take turns abusing each other from the BTN, and are effectively swapping lots of mistakes back and forth.
Doing the same mistakes as your opponents is of course not an excuse to keep doing it. But if that's the case, at least you're not being exploited hard (for now). You could check your database and see how the other good regs are faring in the blinds. If they do significantly better, you can perhaps learn something from them.
For the most part playing OOP postflop is not going to be profitable, so one of the best things I think we can do is optimize our preflop selection and be specific vs each opponent. I would say also folding the bottom 15-20% of your range OOP will, for the vast majority of players, increase your winrate outright, as they are most probably losing you money playing those hands.
