Newish to PLO, Am I awful or is this standard?

So im fairly new to PLO, i dont expect great results right away and pretty happy to be breaking even or slight lose for the first bit of playing as I improve. My poker background is a few years of NL with last year as my first serious year me playing about 700k hands at NL25 zoom and having 3bb/100 winrate overall in the end going from BE / Losing at the start to doing ok by the end.

Ive played 50k hands of PLO so far and its night and day from the first hand to the last 20k hands, Im noticing tons of mistakes now, found tons of my own that I have corrected after watching hours and hours of PLO videos on Cardrunners and here, im on the 2nd round of watching all Coldwells videos again to really digest everything.

I know PLO has way more variance and i was ready for it but im at the point of losing so much im starting wonder if im feeling more confident then I should about my ability. im playing PLO5 and down 80bi over 50k hands. im 60bi under EV over that sample.

Is this standard, Do i just suck and should have a better green line regardless of how bad im running at these levels? Like with all the range mistakes im seeing, people stacking off with no redraws and really weak holdings ect ect ect I a little in shock how hard of time im having.

So far im playing 25/18/5%
33% Fold to 3bet
Cbeting 53/41/60 (F/T/R)
Fold vs CB 54/33/53
WTSD 29%
W$SD 49%

like the first 35k I was pretty awful, but now when I watch and video and play I feel like my ranges are good, my plays normally match with advice im seeing in videos.

I dont really tilt or anything and the rare time i start to feel annoyed or frustrated I end my session

In the end, basically im looking for some advice or support from more experienced players. Am just a super shitty player and cant even beat PLO5 or is this sorta stuff somewhat standard and I need to just keep working on my game and get in volume

Like I basically can't study any harder then I am or play any more disciplined at this point and my results are just awful I dont want to keep beating a dead horse if this sorta variance isnt somewhat normal for PLO and its something I need to grind though and get used too

If you talk to a lot of the guys on 2+2, they will confirm that 60bi under EV is standard. I have never experienced a downswing as large as 80bi, my biggest being 30 I think. That being said, I'd be curious to know what your positional stats are. You've also got some points on your graph where you should only lose a few bucks EV wise, but you have a large jump down on actual money. If you put full stacks in on 55 / 45 shots you're going to see more variance. I'm not saying you should stop being aggressive, but perhaps you should review some of the large pots you've won and lost to see where your EV stats lie at during points in the hand, including when you got it in.

Post your positional stats and as mentioned your showdown and non-showdown winnings. There will be some clues in there somewhere.
