cBetting wet boards, multi-way, oop seems like a big spew to me so I elect to check fold in almost all situations where my hand doesn't improve even with a gut shot and back door flush draw. Is this too nitty? It bloody well feels it. I'm pretty sure this is my default 3 handed too, because I just dont know where I am.
So I guess my question is, in a multiway pot what is your cbetting range when oop

I think we can actually x/c here unless it goes bet and a raise. Although we don't have that many nut outs, we can continue on many turn cards. Clubs give us NFD with an overpair + gutter. Spades give us the NFB and we can x/raise on turn or lead twice on turn/river, etc. Q gives us the nut straight. K/T are probably good as well. A are mostly good, and if not we still have a decent redraw.
That said, betting here is not terrible with our NFB because it's less likely to get raised and we block TT, but JJ/JT and good draws (pair+wrap, etc.) can still raise and we have to fold a decent amount of equity. It kinda sucks that we have 2 players behind (or 3 in terms of absolute position); in a 3-way pot with BTN and BB, I would be more inclined to c-bet this.
How do you feel flatting a pot bet (14bb) in this situation? I assume that's highly relevant!? Say for instance CO (with no reeds) pots and it's folded back to us?
If CO pot bets I think we just have to fold, we should have close to no FE vs him (since he's short) and our immediate equity is not good enough either. If CO checks and BTN pots, I'd consider calling, especially if BB comes along, because his range doesn't have to be that strong (he might as well be taking a stab) and we get to see turn/river without always having to go all-in.
x. whether or not to continue depends on the action.
