BU is bad reg, opens 40% and does a lot of weird stuff in general even with small SPRs.
BB is 55/10, no further reads.
Guess at this SPR we are pretty much left with pot/calling? c/f doesn't really seem like much fun, and sometimes we get it in vs 7x by the BU who gives us aces a lot.
How bad is checking here in general?

x/folding to BB action but pot/isoing over BTN shoves is the only continuing line I would take on this board. The important part is making sure BB doesn't show any speed because 3 ways with this hand is a variance fest (although you're probably not doing that poorly) and I would avoid it mostly for that reason.
Yeah, c/shoving vs BU was my plan here as well after I checked, was just wondering how much FE we have by openjamming given that we very rarely are in bad shape here and need (I'd guess) somewhere between 20 and 35% FE to make some money on openshoving. Given how wide the range of BB here is this board actually doesn't smash him as hard as a usual coldcallingrange would and we can GII vs BU pretty good we hands like J765 or bare 98 and actually put him in a somewhat tough spot with J9 type hands (KQJ9 has 30% vs AA) ((all assumed BB is folding to a potbet))
If BB calls our open jam with the same range he'd shove if checked to anyway, then we just miss the opportunity to get the extra information - if BTN is getting involved. I think another point to be made is that having it check around to see a turn might be the best possible outcome for our exact hand here, since we improve very nutty and if they were so thin they couldn't shove that flop but catch barely enough to shove turn while you improve, that puts you in a great spot to dominate as opposed to chopping up pot odds with everyone getting it in on flop.
might get BB to fold QQ or even KK if he was a reg or put him in a tough spot with 876.. but yeah agree with the points, especially since they match my thought process.
