Middle set in trouble
Hi guys, any thoughts on how I played this hand? I'm thinking turn should have been bet/fold. Thanks for your input

This is a purely mathematical situation. What are your pot odds on the turn? What's your chance of hitting a full house on the river? Calculate those, then you'll have your answer.
pot odds are 2.5:1, chances of filling up on the river are around 3 to 3.5:1 against but frankly I'm never too enthused about drawing to an underfull in the first place
Well, In my opinion jj44 can also be folded preflop. Your hand needs to hit a set, and when you hit, you options out of position are really narrowed. And it just gets you into tricky spots - especially in deep stack situation
As far as I understood, you should often check/call flop since you won't hit that flop very often.
Very nice analysis.
The main problem here in my opinion is that hands will always be tricky AND you're deep. Those two combined are a direct way to lose money.
I think folding JJ44 at pf is nitty.
We can have top set, and mid/btm set for our x/c range on postflop.
And this flop actually we hit medium strength hands more than co and bn.
We hit more 22/44 84,24,28, and we have more 356 a35. But co/bn has more 88, 567.
So actually leading this flop is good idea.
Flop bet, turn bet is seems good because co has many fd on his range.
About calling 2bet on the turn is I totally agree with mathematical situation.
Interestingly enough PPT ranks this hand only in the 19th percentile; it is important to play pretty snug UTG.
