Live plo play
I was playing at harrahs lastnight in a 5/5/10 plo game 9!handed I wake up in the cut off with AA107 double suites Hearts and diamonds . It is limped around. I raise to 35 I have about 790 effective .. 2 callers so the pot is around $190. One of them which is setting on about 2,500. He is setting in the bb which has K1063 all spades and one heart. The flop comes the 10skd5d giving bb 2 pair me with an over pair and the nut flush draw .. he ends up betting full pot.. I 3bet him to about 490 to try and get him off some 2 pair hands and lower flush draw.. he Jams it in .. I was in the tank for a minute figured I had minimum 50% equity he has been playing wild all night .. so my question would be pre flop and on the flop should I have isolated bigger and is it a good idea to just rip it in against my opponent on the flop like that? This is my first forum post so sorry if it wasn't worded very well . Thanks for your input guys

Preflop I pot it simply because you can maximize your EV by charging them more to see the flop and you will lower the SPR, which is good for your actual holding. On the flop I think in live PLO games with an opponent that you describe as pretty wild, I would just pot it over his bet with what the SPR is. When you put $490 in, you basically are saying I'm committed anyway, so I just try to get it all in now. I don't think you meant you wanted to get him off of worse flush draws, but even if you are up against two pair plus, you are doing well vs his range overall. You block some top two, so it makes it a little more difficult for him to actually have two pair, but the main point I will make is a lot of the hands that he will bet/call it off with will often be combos like pair+draw and combo draws that you are in good shape against or even often absolutely smashing. I would want to capture that equity now and not let any action killing cards come on the turn, so yes I pot it and am happy to get it in with him on the flop. Whether you shove or not over opponents in spots like these depend on factors such as:
1. How is my actual hand doing vs his get it in range?
2. Is it better to shove now to best realize my equity before bad/action killing turns come?
3. What am I actually repping with my line and does it make sense for me to have those combos in my range?
zzzzzzzzzz, arr in.
