LIve PLO cash adjustment question
So about a week ago i played my largest ever cashgame pot, it was after a tournament and the only game that was running that late was a 20/20/40 SEK PLO game (forced straddle to 40) . one usd is about 8-8.5 something SEK so the game was something like 2,5/2,5/5 , just divide all following numbers by 8 if that helps.
I changed 3000 of my winnings for chips and sat down with 2k leaving 1k to top up if needed. This was probably a mistake I didn't fully realise at the time just how big the game would play and I think i should've gone for a 4k buyin, it's supposingly a 20/20 game but it's basically a glorified 20/40 game, the straddle carries no extra intimidation to these players.
Early on I played a 4567ds hand where I shoved for my last PSB on 378rainbow and binked a 4 river against two callers and at that point i was up to 6,5k..ish
the big hand that got me thinking was a restraddled hand to 80 and we were forced to act with AAK5 single suited, I'm not super happy playing this out of position so I went for the good all limp -> smash -> pray strategy. I called 80, guy behind me called 80, button made it 320, straddle called 320, we called pot to 1700 and both button and straddle called, flop was 234 two clubs (we have ace of clubs but not fd) all things considered relatively gin for us considering the circumstances.
Straddle shoved 0,4x pot into us, we put in our last 4,2k and button called. BB had K1086 for a flushdraw and button managed to put in 1700 pre with 233J with two clubs.
Unfortunately our straight did not hold and we lost both runouts to turned and rivered flushes (this duck had how many clubs again?...)
So my questions are these:
How would you play this particular hand vs villains who are likely to pressure your whole stack too wide? (by playing big pots too wide pre and stabbing many flops, no neccesarily overvaluing their hand beyond that postflop)
How would you adjust to this type of soft but aggressive game?
