Live 2/4 PLO 145 bb deep
Hi. I'm new to the site. I've been playing Omaha just for 4 months or so, mainly live cause I think in my country at the casino they're the softest games at this level, and although there's the variance I think there's plenty of money to win. I don't play for a living, so just want to win some extra money.
Table (9 players) is awful, most of the players are going to call with anything pf. Just one good player who is the villain in the hand who I considered somewhat aggressive, just played 25-30 hands with him though. Nobody 3-bets without aces, some even call with them.
Just wanted to check with you guys because I'm quite inexperienced so this may sound a bit silly to you. I don't remember the exact numbers but here's an estimation
UTG: €580 (Hero) AsKhJh9s
CO: €700 (Villain)
Everyone else under 100bb.
I open to 16, I get 6 callers.
Flop is Ts9c2s.
I c-bet to 75. Folds to Villain who pots it. I have nfd, gutshot to the nuts, and the 9. I figure even against a set I'd have the right odds with the money already invested, and against some combos I'm ahead. I ship it. He calls.
Now, is this a no-brainer?
Is there some value in check-calling this flop?
Turn was a T, river a 6. Villain had JT82 with 2 spades.

Default check with 6 players in the pot that act after us, and then only call if someone bets - so its mandatory c/c.
If someone bets and then someone else pots it - I think its tough spot ( maths experts could make some calculus for such spot with some presumptions about number of players in such spot and their possible ranges and remaining number of outs for us to win such pot).
That's what I was thinking reviewing the hand later, I should've check-called.
Once I made the mistake of not checking, there's no room for folding, isn't there?
Everyone except that guy had 60bb at most at the time, so I thought I was almost always going to get it in with 28bb already in the pot.
Well - if board paires - you can easily give up on turn - plus playing vs 6 players you should have been aware that someone flopped really hard: under that I mean hand like QJT9 w/ spades or JJQK or at worst KKQ9ss.
When u lead - further folding does not justify your bet lead - so you should have been thinking about that before you bet that flop from UTG. It was also great probability that someone jams over your bet, particularly good villain that probably reads well and knows what are his odds vs your range in such spot.
