Learning opening ranges

Hi all,
I am a beginner in PLO and just started the From The Ground Up PLO course. I find it quite difficult to learn the opening ranges properly as Emty just explains the ranges’ concepts and there is no definite way to self check if certain holdings should be opened. Any suggestion on this, without paying for another tool?

In addition, can u help re these specific hands from a recent session, should I have opened them?
HJ - QsJd10h7s

Thanks!

Hey, if you want to check the GTO opening ranges, you will need a tool, like Vision on Monker Solver.
QJT7$ss and KJ96$ds It's opening from CO.

Try ProPokerTools. Not sure if it's possible to practise with free version, but Odds Oracle is quite cheap and worth every penny. There's a topic about it on course section.
