KK87ss 4betting vs hardly known opp

CO: $51
BN: $50
SB: $95.23
BB: $118.11
UTG: $50 (Hero)
HJ: $57.79
Preflop ($0.75) (6 Players)
Hero was dealt 8 K 7 K
Hero raises to $1.50, HJ folds, CO raises to $5.25, BN folds, SB folds, BB folds, Hero raises to $16.50, CO calls $11.25
Flop ($35.25) 2 A 3 (2 Players)
Hero bets $32.23, CO raises to $34.50, and is all in, Hero calls $1.27, and is all in

co is 64\35 aggressive. 18 overal 3bet, but only 189hands overall sample (CO 3bet 3\5, BU 2\13)

he cbets 100% in 3b pot, wtsd 41%

it looks too good for giving up pre and def sucks playing oop with relatively low spr post.

so, is 4bet a solid play here? flop always b\c?

I think I probably would prefer to call the 3-bet pre-flop rather than 4-bet.  With no real read on the villain, I expect that we are not going to be happy getting it in if he shoves.  We have a strong hand and I think we'd like to see a flop rather than see him fold junk or shove aces.  He seems to be c-betting everything, so the flop should be pretty easy to play--we're pretty happy to shove any flop except with an A, I think.

As played, I think b/c the flop is good.  You rep aces more credibly than he does (because you 4-bet, and because he called) and it's tough for him to continue with anything other than aces (unlikely), spades, or low rundowns (2345, 3456, etc.).

Preflop 4-bet is a good option here.  I like it better than calling, because your hand doesn't really hit that many flops, and you probably want to play it just for straight up equity.  On the flop you can shove and it's probably still +EV, but I think it's better to bet something like $10 and probably fold to a shove.  That seems dirty, but it's very unlikely that he's going to shove very light here since you'll have top set the huge majority of the time.

In my experience the small bet gets the same number of folds, and he only shoves when he has equity against top set (and you're not doing well at all against that range).

the way I was thinking on preflop is close to what you said. but b/f otf is really "dirty". here he shoved naked J-high FD I do believe he would do same w\ pair+gutter and definitely his not thinking deep about my range and any two pair would go all-in as well...so bet 10 -fold looks like an option, but in this case we rely on his  consistence which I dont wanna do. + it could induce him to shove gutter or so (at the same time, the range w\ which he goes on is mostly consist with aces than any kind of draws)

thanks for feedback

Yeah, if you have that read on him then b/f is no longer an option.  Then it just becomes a matter of how often he hits this board, and you can easily figure out with PPT whether to put more money into the pot or not.

I don't think average player pool players auto bluff with weak draws here.  Very often I think they give up fairly significant amounts of equity against a 1/3 pot bet, and then you've given yourself a very good price on the steal.

think 4 betting pre is fine given your oop and given his VPIP and PFR, with 100 bigs pre and a pot size bet on the flop think your given up way too much equity bet/folding here as he may shove some random gutters and FDS, i shove this flop given your stack size
