Looking back, I think calling is fine. We have some nuts potentials, BTN has vide range. I think multiway pot would be better, but we have to take what others give.

I don't really know what to do in this spot. J9 and AJ just get there, but how many of this hand he could have. If so this could be something like pair+OESD (but we block so much Kx). But looking back he could have some combinations of straights. But would he bet so big with straight? Maybe. I think, that he could have busto flush draw, and now he bluff with that.
