Pot/call has got to be easily better than check/folding. Opponents should auto gii with any two pair or better. Beyond that, if you're never folding, it's questionable whether they can gii with anything else with any frequency. Or rather, they can, but you'll be ahead. Normally though, you'll be behind when you get called. You'll probably be crushed when both stack off, but that won't happen very often at all.
Question is whether you can improve on that strategy by doing something like bet 1/3 pot and fold to a shove, and pot turns when called. I'm not sure that would be massively better, but it might not be worse either.
An exploitative variant would be to check, and shove against one player if/when they stab. They shouldn't actually fall for that trap, the other players shouldn't have a lot of incentive to stab light here. But some players still do.
Pot/call should probably be a good default though. However, in 3-way stack-offs you have to be quite selective with that. This flop is good enough for you, but there will be quite a few that are not.
So puke and get in the last half of my stack after raise and call and hope i have 5 outs?
After potting you're no longer folding no matter what. If you want to retain the option to fold you have to bet much smaller. Not sure if puking will help the outcome a lot though.
Had a similar hand today. I squeezed AKKQss in SB and got 3callers. Flop 974r. I potted and everyone insta folded. You cannot have a guaranteed win, otherwise , you would have to play only when you hit a set, which makes flatting pre with this hand more attractive.
Bet/call. 2pair is rare with that disconnetectedness. As jonna said, you should get rid of 1 with the flop shove at least and can get easily called by Qx.
Did not read prev posts. But sure pot gii. Next time write exactly stacksizes bdfd sidecards opp s stat= they play a crucial role
At what spr would we consider c/f this hand? I always thought dry overpairs are not worth gii when spr>1
I'd probably shove this till spr=4
