I'm a Losing Player. Let's Fix This.
Hi there! I'm Mike....
About a month or two ago I decided to dive back into the world of grinding poker, both online and live. Except, with PLO as the new game of choice. In that time, I have started grinding on a site or two at the .25/.5 level, as well as hitting the local card rooms that sparingly spread PLO on the days they commonly do so. With this, going through the RIO PLO learning path, among other vids.
So far, at the online PLO 50 level, I am a certainly losing player. I have PT4 with only about 3k hands under my belt, and I would like to get to 10k or so hands before really digging into my stats and posting them here, but even at this lower sample I think I am doing more than a couple things generally wrong. It is that feeling beyond the numbers when you feel in your gut what your doing is not correct; I get this feeling often during my sessions (usually 2-tabling 6 max, sometimes starting new tables)
I guess the purpose of this first thread I am making is to begin a dialogue of the major leaks for folks starting out, and at these levels of play. In the very near future I want to start putting hands down captured by my PT4 and discuss them. Ideally, I'd also love to find a few people at various levels of success who may reply here to dig more personally into these hands/spots, and possibly grow together!
I'm really going to be pouring over the low stakes threads here tonight/tomorrow to possibly reply to stuff and get to know some of you fine folks. Either way, thanks in advance!
And, I promise to actually be posting content in that very near future as well!
