Poker Stars, $1/$2 Pot Limit Omaha Cash, 2 Players

Poker Tools by CardRunners - Hand Details

BB: $324.62 (162.3 bb)

Hero (SB): $205.41 (102.7 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 7 4 T 9

Hero raises to $6, BB raises to $18, Hero calls $12

Flop: ($36) A J 3 (2 players)

BB bets $22, Hero calls $22

Turn: ($80) 6 (2 players)

BB bets $67, Hero folds

Opponent 3 bets around 30%. He is definetely bad. Seen him 3 bet hands like A245sss. He's also very aggro postflop, and uses big sizings eveywhere (so for example on KK7r he cbets close to pot in a 3bp). In gereral vs a player ho bets and barrels everything what should we do? I was planning on raise the turn, but normally it would be a fold agaist anyone competent. But I feel I'm getting run over because I let him . Calling doesnt seem a good option, as i have 25% if my FD is live, and if not then im close to drawing dead. Maybe float the turn and bluff rivers? Also risky vs a rec player. Or just fold the flop as my hand will not be able to stand mult street pressure (even when i hit my flush I can loose, and hitting my backdoors is not enough if he pots the turn)

If someone is 3betting 30% is t974 good hand to raise in sb?Against this kind of maniac I would prefer to have wider 4bet range and absolutely avoid this kind of marginal spot oop.
Against almost any player calling with T high flushdraw has big reverse implied odds,i would
just let this one go,no need to raise or any kind of tricky play against this opponent.

LOL At the comments its heads up PLO. He is in position and can not fold pre lol
Against a player type u describe fold ur bottom 15% hands up to and limp next 35% making 50 % raised call 90% plus 3bets bet consider opening 2.2 or 2.5x as opposed to 3x. Then When he 3bets and leads a lot the pot is smaller each bad bet size steal he tries and you have power of position to play more over as to as deeper in SPR. This naturally counters his style. As for hand in question. You should have maybe opened small or limped called vs this player type if less than 120bbs effective stacks you could have raised got it in if u believe he will often call any (inc lower flush) if not then whats the point just for fold eq its not worth a bluff raise then fold to 3bet either and if deep you can not raise flop unless as bluff maybe semi bluff so it seems like the hand its self may be hard to win but you could have put the odds more in your favor pre imo is all with the above
