BB: $18.85
SB: $26.36 (Hero)
Preflop ($0.35) (2 Players)
Hero was dealt J 3 8 9
Hero raises to $0.75, BB raises to $2, Hero calls $1.25
Flop ($4.35) 8 7 4 (2 Players)
BB bets $2, Hero calls $2
Turn ($8.35) 8 7 4 8 (2 Players)
BB bets $4.25, Hero calls $4.25
River ($16.85) 8 7 4 8 5 (2 Players)
BB bets $10.60, and is all in
villain 100\100 over 3 hands
previous one I 3beted and get it with cbet OTF. its 4th hand he is making his first 3bet

*flop, i dont see much sense in raising, out outs are 8,T,spade,sometimes 9 and Jack
*turn, we should be ahead most of times, and i'm not sure whether raise could be possible or not
*river, I'm not giving him to many BDF and his line looks like aces that he dont know what to do with. 56, 69 w\o flush should check here. herocall?

You can certainly get it in on the turn, although calling is fine. If you call I assume you do so because you expect to play rivers better than your opponent. On the river... it's a bit weird. He may still be betting a straight. Or a flush. Or a boat. Thing is you don't beat any of his value range. You only have a bluff catcher.

He could certainly be bluffing here, but for myself I prefer to have some specific reads on a player before I start hero calling. I don't really think the majority of PLO25 players 3-barrel bluffs this board often enough for this to be a hero call against an unknown.

Him being 100/100 over 3 hands means nothing at all, and you can't really automatically put him on AAxx either. Most players 3bet a lot wider than that HU.

i dont expect him to shove a str8 here or even 8xxx, most prefere to c/herocall these hands with equity but not turning them into bluff, if so, his value range turns to some boats and flushes. but again, sizing is something between "not-confident" aces or nuts like 87, 8+high cards, that we block

what about shoving Turn, now it looks like most correct play

I fold river, like jonna siad you have a bluff catcher now. I like the idea of shoving turn given he might call you with worse and you can protect your hand against draws which he should call it off with. Turn call is not bad, but I like shoving here.

I don't like your hand pre at all ( gap on top + dangler + not so great potential FD).
By this I am not saying I wouldn't play it HU, but I would consider folding it to opponent's 3-bet.
Besides having 4 outs on flop for nut str8 you hit flop poorly and your chances to win hand r not great.
I think these 2 calls ( 3-bet call pre + flop call) were the reasons u found yourself in tough spot as I see it....

Never fold this hand to a 3bet HU. Call flop.
Not sure if jam turn is better than call, but once called, fold river, see jonna102.
