I felt lost in this hand. Is the call pre okay? UTG limper was a 60vpip whale, no reads on the button. What's the best line here?

This or x/raise. If you were deeper, x/calling might be better.
Fold pre.
Fold pre, when you're hoping to make a set and then not even sure if you're good when you do make it, you're just asking for trouble.
if you think the Button is squeezing lite, you can try a 3 bet here being double suited, blocking an ace. The pair is actually a detriment in this hand but still a decent 3 betting hand. The problem with calling is unless you make quads you are playing OOP to a whale who does not fold meaning you must showdown a winner, and a presumably thinking button. 3 bet or fold here IMO.
Preflop call is standard and fine imo. But like Dusty Atherton said above, 3betting is worth considering too.
Postflop plays seems fine to me.
