I know MP is opening wide 40/28/11/17 and CO didn't raise so could be calling with any speculative hand - my AA are fairly dry but I'm IP and probably ahead of their ranges

I always think that rainbow boards with small pairs are good for overpairs - they check so I bet

After he calls a decent size bet on the flop I'm cautious because 4s are certainly in his range although I think his style is more agro than slow play

I hit trips on the river.....probably would have bet anyway after he checks again. Weirdly he throws in a big xr. I usually tend to be cautious on paired board and this one is double paired......should we call this? I bet small enough that weaker hands could call - maybe after I checked turn he's reading it as weakness or as AA that might fold on this board to a big raise. Maybe he called the flop with an 8 and hit 2 pair on the turn with the 10 but checked fearing I have the overpair. I do block 8s though
Final Pot
BN

MP lost and shows two pair, Jacks and Eights.
