Not a hand that I typically 4 bet. However I felt I was ahead of villain's range given that he had 3 bet 4/12 opportunities in just 45 hands. If I flat I think it becomes very difficult to play 3 way even in position. By 4betting my hand I get over 40% of stacks in pre. On the flop should the villain have a one pair + draw combo then I am 50% and some 2 pair combinations 28 %. Obviously this is a terrible board, but I am getting 2.65 : 1 requiring 27% equity to make the call break even.

I think the preflop sample it's too low to make such a drastic deviation from a normal 4Bet range (Monker or vision range) to 4Bet with this hand. I think your hand plays good enough in position and I would call it for sure, I would call even KK32 or KK42 with a King high suit.
On the flop, it's more of a math problem, if you did it and you think the call it's winning it's ok, for me it's a fold, his range connects very well with the board.
Paul I really appreciate your input. I've got some work to put in - hopefully I can keep posting hands, and keep improving especially with bet sizing (which I am not sure where to start) I'm in the process of considering purchasing from the ground up PLO. Your thoughts on the course? Unfortunately I only get through around 13K hands a month (Zoom). So, I am not sure I'll be able to get the most out of it with this output.
Hey, 13K hands per month can be very costly if you make constant mistakes, for sure getting help to improve your game is the right move.
I didn't see the course, it's more for beginner to the intermediate level I think, but for sure I would get some value from seeing it.
I will notify Emty, he can give you more details, he made it.
Hey Shivsta
I pretty much agree with Paul's analysis on the hand with the only tiny difference that I would fold some of the weakest KKxx hands with K high suit against the Squeeze due to rake implications at the Micro stakes. Against a regular 3bet and being Heads-Up, we can definitely widen our continuing range with the KKxx+K-highsuit type of category.
Paul is right that the FTGU course is suitable for Beginners to Intermediate, playing up to PLO50 I'd say. But there is definitely a lot of time, input and practice from your side necessary if you want to grasp the concepts of the course and implement them into your game. You won't get anything out of it if you just rush through the videos. So it's up to you :) I hope I could help you out!
Best,
Emty
Hi Emty,
I appreciate your input on the hand. I primarily play 25 PLO with a win rate of 5bb over 26k hands and little bit of 50 PLO. I think that this course would benefit me tremendously as I am transitioning from NLH. At the moment I have little knowledge of 3 bet strategy or C betting strategy I basically make it up from NLH and few PLO live videos I've watched + some in game adjustments. As my bankroll is low (i.e. I use the cashout option on stars to limit variance/avoid giving up). I have seen the first 2 videos, and since I don't have a large amount of time to dedicate to poker I will have to slow through the course. Is there going to be a Black Friday sale? I have signed up to the first 50 option. If not then I will grow my bankroll to a point that I can buy the course

I only look at the preflop play and not the rest of the post so I wouldn’t be biased. This is definitely not a 4 bet candidate. It is very disconnected, single suited and would be dominated by AA. Really the only KKxx you are 4 betting is ones that contain an Ace.. I may even consider this a fold to a 3 bet depending on the opponent.
