BB: $25.30 (Hero)
HJ: $23.97
CO: $19.65

Flop ($27.20) K 8 T (3 Players)
SB bets $9.13, and is all in, Hero folds, BN folds
Final Pot

BU 35\20 over 350hands

dynamics: few hands before - same spot - BU open, SB 3bet- me 4bet - all fold.
I know, i need like ~25% is fold an option? - if SB would be same effective stack we've got

My immediate thought was to fold given we are not doing great against any reasonable hand that shoves into two people; giving them 4:1. If SB has KQcQx then we have 38% so I suppose we have to call...

I must admit that if I was in your spot I would have folded also; interesting isn't it..

The SB would shove a hand like AKQ9 w/ spades here. JT96. Pretty much any pair or draw will jam. So yeah, there is NO WAY you can fold.

With this SPR, we really don't have to think about much. We potted pre to remove any decisions on the flop (also for value obv). Even though it's not an ideal flop, it's still an auto-call.

It is interesting because Button called a 4bet, so his range includes many BBBB and NNBB rundowns (gapped or not), aswell possible sets. However, we have ~25% vs QJ98+fd, ~13% vs a flopped set, ~36% vs QQJT+fd type of hands and ~58% vs QQJT type of hands without fd. Taken all that, there is no way you can fold this with 0.25SPR.

I had written out a long responce to this about why we cant fold and its not rly that close. But then I started running a bunch of equities of hands I thought were at the bottom of his range and were not doing very well vs them either. I deleted the original post in favor of this one. I didn't change my mind about calling but it's closer than I thought. Our Ac and T blocker help some ofc and theres not too many hands that have us in real big trouble (<15%) but theres not too many were doing well against either (>40%). I think it's for sure a call and kiss your stack goodbye about 68-70% of the time, but still a profitable one.

I think fold to 3bet for the Btn would be relevant cause if he is calling with a reasonable portion of his opening range to try to outflop aces and has some hands like T976 or 9765 that have a gap or 2 in them I think that helps us out a bunch. Seems like just adding 3 or 4 hands to his range that were flipping with would make a huge difference for us and maybe bump us to like 35% equity which makes it a pretty easy call.
