Preflop my plan was to limp/call OOP, limp/pot IP. I didn't want to play weakish aces OOP in a 3-bet pot. I now see no one had ever three bet :(. But when it was 5 way I
didn't want to pot into raiser because I thought my Ace outs may be in
the other hands that I expect to be a bit ace heavy. I didn't know what to do.

Questions:

Was my plan too passive, should I have opened UTG?

Given the original limp, was the best play to fold to a raise an 3 callers? Pot? Or given almost 6:1, call and bet a flop I connect with?

Any thoughts on playing weakish aces OOP?

Zoom games usually run fairly tight, so you can just open this and expect to get some folds.  You obv don't mind getting flatted as long as you don't overplay them postflop, and getting 3b is always nice because you can 4b now.

By limping, you let others in cheaply (like you have here), and if you were given a chance to limp/3b they are usually not gonna make more mistakes than you do, especially if it goes multiway and you have to act before 2-3 other guys do.

Btw, this AA isn't all that terrible despite being rainbow.

I think you do yourself a disservice by openlimping from early position in Zoom games. There's always good fold equity preflop and postflop, and here you have a decent hand to boot.

Getting 3-bet sitting somewhat deep with rainbow aces isn't all that fun, but we can't always get what we want.

In Zoom game I think that is not a good plan to open limp, because many player check/fold from big blind and you give them to see flop, if you raise and someone 3-bet , you can also call, and on many flops you will have the best hand ,and you can chek-raise flop, also if the flop come Axx you will take money from player in position who can represent your hand. But when you limp and after MP raise and have 3 callers, its 100% that only MP can have AAxx, and if you 3bet he will 4bet you, but with 14/10 MP raise 80% of his range, and when you 3bet he can raise for isolate others.

On the flop ,when you only call preflop, its easy fold for me.

In 9 handed game I almost every time play weak AAxx passive OOP with idea to hide my hand , and if flops top set its more difficult to other ot put on this hand when you only call PFR, but it depends mainly of your stack size and SPR on the flop.If you are with normal 100BB or less limp 3bet is better options for me. But in 6 max especially in zoom game open with raise is better OOP
