I had been caught taking stabs on lockdown boards with air. I put the villain on an overpair or worse trips but mostly on an overpair. I think he pays me with aa or any trips combo. The problem is I have an ace so kk is more likely.
Is checking back the river fine or am I losing too much value?

Im not too üositive about that but I thnk we has to bet AT here. The board is a little too bricky imo. I would for sure checkback JT. Not sure about QT probably bet
Also what do you think if villaint has something like kjjx. About x/raising river. I find these often some god plays because its tough to call a river x/r with anything other than kt. Him blocking a k makes it less likely u have one. However if he x/r here he repsKT and kk only which is very well in his range obv. But not to many combinations.
I would have bet something like 220 on river leaving me with 160 behind. I dont think he would x/r this with anything but value. I dont think Im capable of folding to a x/r even if I probably should which is another reason why Im scared to bet.
J987 with hearts or AA[7-9]hh (though u block his potential AA) could have called u till river.
On river you got worse non-heart * card for value betting as on every heart but Ah & Qh * u can not value bet river.
AA is not calling u as u DO have T or KK when u value bet river.
I am not sure u would like to gamble that he :
- does not have 66 (!), T6, TK, KK which r pretty much in his calling range ,
same as J987 with hearts or AA[7-9]hh or hand like T987 ( with or without hearts).
It would be interesting if he would c/r u on river with hand like AAKhhB (B <> T) or hand like JT97hh.
I think it's a clear (but thin) value bet on the river. It's also a clear (but maybe close) fold to a c/r.
Easy bet. you can get a call from all sorts of hands. To bet 220 is not good at all. I would bet around a third pot, calling a shove. By betting small you will get looked up light and occasionally he we shove as a bluff.
