I am not really sure if I should have called this flop re-raise here or not?

well bet folding is plain awful you have top pair and a flushdraw in a 3bet pot and you're getting a reasonably good price.
Even though the flush outs might not be good and that board probably hits np range hard?
Why not only calling this hand PF OOP? Would be easier to c/c or c/f the flop.
Well my reasoing was that my hand has some nutty aspects and I'd prefer to play hu oop rather than mw and by 3 betting you create a lower spr on the turn so reduce the positional advantage
so you decide to three bet to reduce the spr, then hit reasonably well and decide to fold because your outs may not be good.
if that is your reasoning you a) should not be 3betting this hand at all (and there are certainly arguments for this) b) you should not be betting the flop after 3betting and hope to induce some kind of bluff.
BUT wanting to reduce the spr and then folding a reasonable hand with said low spr is really weird don't you think?
Yeah you are absolutely right there is definately a flaw in my logic there!!!
So what line would you take with this hand?
Thanks for responding to my post, much appreciated
Unless we know BB is squeezing very light with his short stack I wouldn't 3bet this hand pre. It plays better in a single raised pot.
If we know BB is looking to get it in light with his short stack I'd probably be 3 betting most of my hands small so he can reopen the betting, thus putting MP in the position of having to decide if he wants to jam or wants to call and possibly face our jam. That way if MP is somewhat thinking you put a lot of pressure on him investing very little money.
As played pre you'd really have to give more info on the players involved. Depending on their tendencies this could go a lot of ways. Like betting tiny to get BB to shove light. Pot calling, check calling or even check raising (obviously this would need some very special reads).
i tried to simulate the hand in GB module on PJ
tho its pretty much HU spot as I didn't practice the 3way spreadsheet that PJ released lately
as you can see HU its fine spot to b\call vs range give below. also i excluded from MP's range all wraps w\ back doors and A:4+(ss) and we still have EV shove of around 3$
i'll just leave it here for now and try to do 3way analysis later. as i'm quite curious whether BB's presense makes our equity worse
