Equity vs Top range and whole range
Hey guys
Maybe someone can help me out little bit.
I'm getting better at estimating my equity while playing but this is only when taking opposition top range into account.
ex: i have my pair + FD vs top set OTF GII situation.
But what is interesting is that is it possible to know approx. equity vs whole range, taking into account all top range and some more, like draws etc.

You need software for this.
I know that PKJ can solve many problems.
But first and foremost i am looking to think and solve some situations myself and when cannot then turn to AI
Hi. I assume you want an ability for yourself like the PPT or other program has. You type a range and it says lets say 43%. I think thats basicly impossible if you are not rainman :D
What you can do (or this is what i do at least) is that say u have AA with NFD on 952ss. Opponent raises u. Its enough to know that your equity is crushing him (80+) ahead (around 65%) , flipping (around 50), behind (35) or crushed (<20) against the different possible holdings (his range)
You will never be able to say that u have 58%against his ENTIRE range, As the holdings freqency plays also a role that u can only estimate. So in this spot he can have
2p (flipping)
smaller pair with flushdraw (way ahead)
Set (behind but not a disaster)
Now u simply estimate that he will have less sets than pair+fd so it is profitable. If the board is QK5ss instead , you count with sets more likely and u decide upon spr (potodds)
