Defense Frequency in the Blinds
I'm trying to figure out what the correct defend frequency is for the blinds. I've watched several videos, including Janne's from 2015. Since the advent of solvers (in 2015, I believe?), I'm wondering if the numbers have changed in the GTO world?
FWIW, I primarily play .25 / .50, so I'd be interested in the numbers for that level and higher. Also, does the defend frequency change by stakes?
Between the videos I've watched and my reading from various sources, a defend of any 3 connecting cards and a suit is (T-6-5-2) is correct and completing the SB with something like K655 with a suit is correct as well.

Don't complete the SB, raise or fold. From the Ground up PLO covers blind defense.
If this is PLO we defend 65% of our hands sitting in the BB facing an openraise from the SB.
As a beginner I would not play PLO50 and also would start out with a lower defending frequency of around 40-50%. The defending frequency is not dependant from the stakes you play but from the bet-sizing which lay you the odds where it is our goal to prevent villain from profiting with his bet/raise.
So when you are first to act, this is technically not a defense situation but a steal where we try to steal the blind. We can also limp in order to realize our equity or steal the pot postflop. With a raise-only strategy we should raise 39% from the SB according to solver but again I recommend to start with a lower frequency of ~30% since we are out of position postflop.
