BB plays 36/23/raise flop cbet 31% in 2.4k hands. My read is that he cold-calls 3bet with wide range when deep and capable of making many moves on the flop. Before this hand we battled BVB with 100bb effective stack when I was in SB opening Js6sTh5h and he called. Flop comes 6d5d6h, I cbet $40 into $60, getting raised by him to $150, I 4-bet to $290 and he shoves with A6ccQ3.

On this 3 way flop, I choose to c-bet this size with intention of 2 barreling on almost any Turn if called. BB makes a small 3bet to represent only trips or better. Because my hand can't win by showdown and he attacks weakness a lot by keeping aggression on the Turn, I think 4bet/fold should be the best choice. I expect him to either jam or fold on the flop however he just calls. I actually never expect him to call so I don't know how to put him on a range atm. Now I think his range could be nuts (66) or air (457x) because he is very likely jamming trips or underfull. I have to admit that I have no idea what to do on the Turn and Kd gives me backdoor flush draw so I decide to check hopefully hitting my str8 or flush on the river. Of course the Turn check is 100% check/fold for me as he never gay-bet like $300 into $1.4K pot. After he checks the Turn obviously it's mandatory and profitable bluff on the river.

My questions:
1) Is it more profitable by jamming the Turn or at least betting the Turn small rather than check (say $500 into $1.4K?)
2) Do you play differently from the flop to the river?

Thank you and welcome comments!

I agree with every street. I like your plan on the flop vs the opponent described and I definitely agree the river bluff is profitable. Nh.

I think your turn and river play and logic are great, but I don't like the flop play. It's just soooo hard for us to represent a 6. The number of times he has it combined with the number of times he realizes that and re-bluffs us make me think it's just not profitable.

Thanks Di and Phil.

Phil would you elaborate on why do you think it's so hard for us to represent a 6? Because it's deep many people including me would 3betting low-mid-high rundowns rather than some AA or KK combos so sometimes I do have trips+ in my range. Also what line would you take against this kind of opponent at this situation?

From experience the really tough aggro regs are capable of floating your CIB and can then stab really small on the turn once you check which then makes your CIB unprofitable if your immediate fold equity isn't great and can't follow through on the turn. just in my experience

his check back makes me think he can show the hand down which is odd given his flop range should be polarized.

Yea I don't get this hand at all, does he have like the low wrap or something? I know Phil tried to do something like this with a low overpair in a video recently but I don't think I've seen it from random much. Cool hand.
