Critique my Thought Process in 3bp....please
BN: $169.24
SB: $204.42
BB: $200
Hero raises to $6, BN folds, SB folds, BB raises to $19, Hero calls $13
Reads: This is villains first hand at the table, so his HUD stats had not popped up yet. I knew that he was a reg and thought that he would play "standard", as I had no notes on him.
My street by street thoughts:
Pre- "Hand plays well against wide 3b range and sort of poorly against tight AA, KK heavy 3b range. I have double suited semi-connected hand, I call."
Flop- "I don't think many people are x-f this flop. I think he is going to try to rep A's and K's, which I hit. I don't want to get x-r, as I will have to fold my equity. I can still credibly bluff on later streets if I don't improve."
Turn- "He is going to bet this turn almost all of the time. Do I want to shove for value/protection or flat/slowplay and play rivers? I think I can play rivers pretty well compared with him, I call.
River- "Bingo! Hmm, what am I getting value from when I shove? I have basically the best hand I can have in this spot and surely there are some worse hands that he is calling with, I shove."
Please critique my thought process. What sort of thoughts go through your head(s) in these spots.
Thanks
Ted
