Hi. As played, I would bet the river given that we have the best hand most of the time, but as I don't expect to get bluff raised at this stakes, I would bet/fold unless I know something about the opponent to bet/call.
Unless you know your opponent is pretty tight, he is going to call river with any 2 pair +, so definetly bet something like ~$1.50. On the turn, you have shown that don't have a str8 with your check back, so I think he can call wide a river bet.
I think this is where I really need to improve my game. I don't get full value out of my hands...sure the odd time someone will slow play the nuts and get an extra bet out of you but I'm not really the player type that they target for this. Good players bet when they are ahead
Easy value bet on the river. I would value bet AQ here. Bet fold is fine.
I like the turn check, given that we block the A makes the straight not unlikely and his non-straight hands have very little equity against our hand.
River should be a very easy bet, you have the 2nd nuts and your opponent told you that he doesn't have #1.
This is not a marginal value bet OTR, this is mandatory. A7 is probably closer to a should I/shouldn't I mark. I guess I'd fold to a check/raise, although I'd be kinda pissed he did it.
I also think that there's a pretty good argument for betting turn against most people given it's a gutter that came in and we block a J. At these stakes, the biggest mistake people make is calling too much so I'd rather give villain a chance to call 3x with top pair/two pair. Yes it sucks to get c/r'ed, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't bet when it's awesome to get called and that happens far more often.
Remember, you have the second nuts here, this is a value hand on every street until we have a reason to believe otherwise.
