6max/HU Adjustments when creating a table?
Hi guys,
As a PLO 6-max player, I am looking for basic adjustments for HU play when creating a table, which can be useful for some other players too.
Most of the time when you create a table, you have to be comfortable playing HU for some time before other players fill up the table, without necessarily being a HU expert.
This can give us a pretty good edge everytime we have the luxury of playing a weak player HU for quite some time.
Assuming we're playing against unknown, which general advice / video would you recommend on PLO HU play 100bb deep, regarding any of these topics:
BTN:
How wide to open by default from BTN?
BTN 3-bet calling range?
What's our default 4-betting range? Do we usually want to 4-bet/call everything or does it make sense to 4-bet fold?
SB:
Do we usually prefer calling or 3-betting from blinds?
Which hands do we call and which hands do we 3-bet as a default line?
What do we call 4-bets with by default?
What do we want to 5-bet jam by default?
Which adjustments do we want to make on flop and turns compared to HU pots in 6-max? Are there any, or do we treat it the same? Do my questions make sense?
I know these are a lot of questions, any partial input is already of great help.
Apologies if a similar topic already exists on RIO, let me know and I'll remove this one and contribute to the existing one.
Thx a lot for the help guys.
