5/10 live hand multiway turn nuts

Table have been really loose passive pre. Not a whole lot of 3betting. I have quite a tight aggressive image and took down a few pots uncontested before the river.

9 handed I raise to $30 with $5k stacks from UTG+ 1 KQQ6ss. I usually just fold this pre but from what i've seen people have not been 3betting at all and there are a few players who will come in with hands like TT83s, K778s to a single raise.

MP MP+1 BTN BB calls. flop comes 669hh. BB check I check MP checks MP+1 bets $100 into $155 BB fold. I call $100. HU to the turn.

Turn is the Q which also brought another flush draw. So now I have top boat. I check, villain bets $200 into $355. I check raise to $680 (we are 250bb deep, he has me covered) He folds.

MP+1 is a friend of mine and plays very straightforward tight and aggressive. I don't think he will bet on flop 5 way without at least a 6. I think my line of check calling the flop here is best although I am not sure if that is balanced. I turned the nut boat and went for the x/r.

Question
1) How do we start to build ranges in multiway pots when we have to play so straightforward? We have to play more passive as we can't cbet with marginals right?
2) When everyone is forced to play straightforward because of pots being 4-5 ways, where are we getting out edge from?
3) Can play the hand above any differently? and more importantly why
