I think I should have check-raised this flop because there's a high chance I take it down, but check/calling is probably good too since he doesn't barrel a lot.

When he checks back this turn, I figured he has a lot of hands he's giving up with. I expect him to bet the turn with trips+ the majority of the time.

Given my blockers and the fact that I expect him to bet trips+ on the turn, I thought he would have enough bluffs in his range to warrant a small c/r. Basically his turn check caps him to medium strength hands, and we have blockers to the most obvious medium strength hand.
We risk 18$ to win 16.5$ so it needs to work about 55% of he time to show a profit. I didn't think this hand was good enough to bluffctach with although I could be wrong about that too.
I actually don't like my line in hindsight, mostly because it's hard for us to rep many strong hands here (even though him checking the turn allows us to c/r thinner for value). but I would like to hear your thought process regarding this spot.
Thanks!
