If you don't like the check-raise against a potsized bet, do you like it against a different sizing ?

For me, better effect has leading turn than c/r given stack sizes, but seems to me you are doing fine in this match, so I guess you know what are you doing... Your odds OTT are good enough that you can stand reraise and I think enough often you will complete flush.. When 7diamond or 7club hits river, your hand is well disguised, and when any flush hits river, I think you can VB cause you easily have bluffy image on river cards on these kinds of boards....
I would personally opt to lead and call turn...
Think it's pretty hard to rep a value-hand when you lead the turn, given you check-called the flop. I atleast doubt people will give you credit for check-calling flop with 87xx.
Yeah I agree, if we lead this turn we will get called/floated a ton, whereas if we x/r here we can have more FE. I just think we can get the most money in (not necessarily get it in good, but our immediate FE will make up for it) by x/r'ing here. If he bet/folds something like naked Kxss, that's a great outcome for us.
Of course he can check back here, but this is a turn card that I would expect most villains to barrel quite often because you just x/c'ed flop and your 2p's now have less value than on flop, thus he might think he has enough FE when barreling here.
Well played, imo.
In my opinion you can not rep made hand w/ c/r on such wet board with Jack of hearts OTT that does not improve almost any hand by flop. When you check raise me after check calling flop (not check raising OTF!) I would surely put you on big draw (e.g. ds non made hand) and I would even GII w/ 2nd nuts such as 73....
I think you should just be potting when you x/r turn with these stacks. Your obviously not folding after you x/r to 25 and the extra couple folds you get from potting make up for having slightly more stacks left on river. It might even be a spot where two sizings, one being ~20, the other being pot, could be correct.
OB, the reason I didn't pot was to induce calls from draws that will fold river, but get in vs a pot check-raised, that has me beat.
All: I check-call 87 pretty often on that texture.
Results: Ran into naked 73, against which I had good equity anyway.
Betsizing for almost all players @ PLO50 HU zoom is telling us villian's hand strength. Potbetting turn here in single-raise pot is st8 or 66 almost always.
As we have ~40% vs that range I am c/calling turn and:
- donkbet/fold a spade
- donkbet/call a diamond
- donkbet/call 7 of course )
- c/f other rivers
