$.50/$1 zoom plo -- Do you get involved here?
SB: $106.16
BB: $108.80 (Hero)
UTG: $58.27
HJ: $203.14
CO: $74.57
UTG raises to $3.50, HJ folds, CO folds, BN raises to $12, SB folds
This is one of those hands where you have decent equity pre, but whether you play it or not entirely depends on the situation.
Over just 32 hands, UTG is 91/59 and has 3b/4b of 27/25. Over 93 hands, BTN is 29/24 with 11% 3b (14% from BTN) and 33% 4bet.
So the question is, even with this seemingly juicy dynamic where AQTds is crushing the button's range in a decent hu side pot, do you get involved in a pot where you have nothing invested and 108bbs behind? I often fold here but the equity seemed to good to pass up. Do you feel you need a bigger or shorter stack to make this cold 4b profitable OP?
Results: Hero cold 4b, but chose a poor sizing (pot, to 38bbs). UTG jammed, closing action to fold-call, and button flatted. While I do usually focus on sizing in-game, I often forget that this type of OR will also be happy to jam in 60bbs on his wide range (K46Tds here).
