50 plo flopped middle set, bluff catch all the way?
Quick line check.
Villain was running 27/21/14 and cbet 96 ish.
BTN: £51.92
Hero (SB): £72.97
BB: £88.19
UTG: £82.76
CO: £85.66
Hero posts SB £0.25, BB posts BB £0.50
Pre Flop: (pot: £0.75) Hero has Kd Kc 3s 6s
UTG raises to £1.75, fold, fold, Hero calls £1.50, fold
Flop : (£4.00, 2 players) Ad 2h Ks
Hero checks, UTG bets £2.80, Hero calls £2.80
Alright, so here's what I thought: I could raise this for value, but if I get 3bet it would get kinda ugly because I don't think I can get it in good ~140bb deep, plus I block his AK quite significantly. His flop c-betting range should be very wide and I am very much ahead of it, but when I raise here I just think he will fold almost all hair, even some weak Ax that I obv don't want him to fold.
On a sidenote, the flop is rainbow and I don't have to worry about too many draws. Q/J/T on turn are kinda bad, and maybe 5/4/3 too (but to a lesser extent).
Still an easy x/r?
Turn : (£9.60, 2 players) 8c
Hero checks, UTG bets £8.50, Hero calls £8.50
He continues to bet close to pot, and once again I thought raising is a bit too thin.
River : (£26.60, 2 players) 7h
Hero checks, UTG bets £22.50, Hero calls £22.50
Ditto.
Did I play nit up too much in this hand? It kinda sounds horrible, but I just didn't have the right moment to go for a raise.

Standard wp imo
Thanks, so would you agree that it's a bit thin to raise on the flop here?
Nh, assuming he's opening a reasonable UTG range. Given you remove two KK, AA will make up a larger portion of his range preflop. That means he will also have less AK's that a raise would get value from. QJT will be one somewhat frequent portion of his range, but I don't think the protection/value we get by raising vs that hand outweighs the times we get it in very badly on either flop or turn.
Thin and pointless, as bluffing here is pretty uncommon lets say and that leaves you unprotected against barrels.
ye, call down is fine and not thin, AA is too big portion of his range, and if you reraise i think he is aware he can 3 bet you credibly repping what you don't even have a blocker for, even if he doesn't have it, and to top, he wil have it far too many times for you to isolate yourself against it, call down :) is fine
WP Imo. The flop favors him enough, that you want to protect your check-call range.
