400 PL 3b Pot 200bb deep
Villain is running 35/25 over 517 hands. He's on the spewy and non-believing side postflop. Floats a decent bit in 3bet pots, and often barrels.
I'm running similar stats to him, 3betting a lot, given he's stealing 90% from btn.
Pre seems standard.
Flop I suppose you could argue for a check/call with a hand this strong to protect my checking range on this texture, but given his floaty/spewy/non-believing tendencies, I felt like just betting for value seemed best.
Turn, I decided to check to max vs his floats and to check/call to gain another bet from his bluffs or thin value on the river. Also to protect my check/ca range on turn. It might be bad though, I'm not entirely sure. I'd love some thoughts on what our overall strategy should be on turn's like this against aggressive opponents, as well as what you think the vacuum play is here.
River again is one of those spots where I'm not sure if leading, or ch/ring is the play. Given that I block a lot of his value combos he can have on the river, I'd think checking is best to gain from his air, with my specific hand. However, I think there are parts of my range(stuff like AQJ7 nut clubs or QJ98) that would like to bluff this river card given that his range is pretty capped and I put a lot of pressure on the middling parts of his range.
So yeah, thoughts on all streets appreciated. Hopefully we can get some discussion about not only the vacuum play on all streets, but the range plays and optimal overall game plans for these types of spots.
