Hey guys

we have a fps of 1 here with 2nd nfd and gutshot vs 2 opponents.
im pretty lost what to do here, since the pot is already 7$ and we have like pot behind.
i can see points for folding, calling or getting it in, but to be honest, i have no idea. my tendency is to get it in since the pot is already huge, sometimes our fd is live and they can easily also just have hands like QQfd or 8910..

what do you think? maybe its a fistpump get in, but im curious.

thanks

Opening this hand from MP is too loose, highcards not connected enough plus dangler. I would fold this hand also CO, if BTN is nit then Im opening it from CO.

After when you face 3bet and two calls, Im not totally sure what to do. I mean you get great prize, but your hand sucks and you should not have open it first place. CO is probably very AA heavy, other two players ranges are probably pretty good since they called vs 3bet. I would probably fold this hand and look better spots and hands to make EV.

Flop is clear C/F. CO shouldnt bet this way bare AA, he could easily have aces with nutflushdraw. I mean your hand is currently K high, with second high FD and gutshot, CO and BTN ranges have you crushed.

Fold preflop in one of your two opportunities to do so, especially the second.

Regarding the flop, this is one of those situations where two preflop mistakes caused the flop confusion, so I'm just going to emphasize again how crucial it is not to play this combo from HJ, especially after a 3bet.

Between this and the previous hand you've posted, I'd strongly recommend that you work on studying preflop PLO play. (RIO has no shortage of material.)

If you keep seeing flops with troublemaker combos, you're going to have an unnecessarily difficult (and frankly probably expensive) time learning the postflop game.

Agreed with devwil and Teemu Vuorinen about not opening this hand, but I think you can call the 3bet, mostly because of your good relative position (the 3bettor bets a lot of flops and you get to see what the other players do before you act).

I'd fold the flop, mostly because I expect the nut flush draw to make up a reasonable portion of each of their ranges. Dry AA shouldn't cbet, so if you expect the 3bettor to have an AA heavy range, that will often include nut spades once he bets. Next, one of the most common hand types to call with (rather than shove) for CO is a draw that wants other draws in (aka the nut flush draw).

Phil Galfond Shouldn't we fold preflop to the 3bet if we're check/folding a FD+GS flop, though? This was part of my unstated reasoning for emphasizing folding the second time we get a chance.

Like, this isn't the best flop for KsTs9c5c, but it strikes me as far better than average. But we're retreating in no small part due to reverse implied odds, despite flopping one of our stronger possible draws. (OESD/wrap would be better, of course.)

If this flop isn't good enough for our combo to continue (and I tend to agree there), it feels to me like we're only continuing on pretty specific flops (for example... 2-3 spades with As on board; QJ; KK with a FH+ or at least live nut outs). At that point, I just feel like we're being extremely speculative in a -EV manner, but my reasoning is somewhat impressionistic on this point.
