3/6 3b Pot 300+bb deep, River Decision
Villain is running 33/21 over 1.3k hands, 3betting around 10% overall, about 8% from BB. He's been even more active than his stats indicate over the last 100 or so hands, opening like 40% from all positions, pretty linearly, and 3betting a bit more overall. The game is formed around one fish right now who is in the SB. For the most part we've been trying to keep SB involved in pots, but when he's out we have battled a bit. No glaring leaks stick out from this guy aside from the fact that he's too loose pre in some spots.
My image is pretty active as well, I'm probably running 36/25 or sth around that. Opening pretty often, and 4betting pretty wide at this stack depth.
Thoughts on all streets appreciated, but specifically river. Is this a value bet or a ch back? I feel like it's really close.

If river is the 2c, I value bet this all day. Def a check when J hits though, really tough for villain to have a calling range otr that you're making money against.
You should have the best hand almost every time, but vbetting is very thin and depends heavily on your history and esp this particular's session dynamics. You said you have battled a bit, well how did those battled end should determine your play on the riv. You have to ask yourself how often did you get to showdown with him, what hands did he saw you show down, how likely are you to bluff that riv and what's your perceived range here.
But first of all what kind of 3bet size is that? Is this his regular sizing?
He didn't start doing this small 3bet thing until we got really deep. I think it's probably bad with anything though.
Agree with the above...this looks like a very clear check without more specific context/history. I can think of very few worse hands that will call and very few better hands that will fold if we bet. I'd imagine most of his jacks-up will have a blocker or two to the straight and very inclined to snap you off when both FDs miss.
