With regards to the match, Viktor has caught seen me slowplay and be very tricky in a number of hands. He's also caught me bluff-raising river in a huge pot, but in general, views my river raises as mostly big hands, I believe.
He's been betting rivers at seemingly an extremely high frequency when I check back turns, and especially in bigger pots (where he may view my range as weak SD value that doesn't want to bet turn and be blown off my hand when he check-jams). He knows I know this, though.
I can see very strong arguments for both the play I made and for betting turn, intending to bet river (with the added benefit of him potentially shoving into me on A or 2 as a bluff).
Another thing that went through my mind was considering what I'd do if he checks a river like this. I could showdown, or I could bet as a bluff. If I bet, do I pay off a x/r?
Some will ask what I think his range is, but to be honest, I'm not entirely sure. Viktor, like me, adjusts his entire strategy when he sees me adjusting to something, so it's really just a guessing game in each moment. He's capable of being tricky here in terms of mixing in slowplays with his weaker SD value range, but I don't expect him to x/c flop without at least Axxx or KQJT, or maybe KJT9 at the absolute worst.
So, what's your plan?
