Had this kind of tricky spot earlier today.
Lets take it from the start, for u who know about Donkpredator he is a rlyrly good deepstacked plo player. He checkraises tons oop and is pretty tricky to play with before u get a hold of what he is doing.
Preeflopp is not to much to talk about, the action start at the flop were he checkraises us. My like 100bb std line here i guess is to flat and jam over him on any non spade turn. But as u can see this is not 100bb stacks ^^
I figured i would 3b him smallish on the flop and barrol big on a good turn to size it up for a river jam even tho its going to be hard to peel of two cards good enough to go bet, bet on. Since he checkraises so much (like 25% in hu pots) i figured if i 3b him small and maybe he will make some like loose/spewish flats here, im also carefull about not getting the pot to big. Like getting stacks in here will never be to fun imo. Even tho we def can go with this. Anyways, he call - see u at the turn
Turn is a good card obv, i guess i can just bet big and see what he does. If he jams over me its obv going to be a tough spot, but he did not so enough about that!
River, this is where it imo get interesting. I feelt like im prob going take this one down like some times but im going to be so sad when he has like KQT3ss and scoops it if it goes check check. But also i have in mind my small 3b on the flopp that kind of make my range wider than usual. Often i go a little bigger with my like JJxx 66xx 22xx, and i dont feel a 100% balanced in this spot (hard to be)
My general questions here is
Do we wanna turn this in to a bluff?
What sizing to we go for?
