I struggle with this spot a lot recently. I know I played this hand really bad. When calling a 3 bet oop on A high flop, where we have a A in our hand, I am just really lost as to how to proceed?
I can see the following options:
1) against villian who 3 bet good balanced range (8-10%), we could just fold pre flop; but I feel my hand is a bit too strong to fold?
2)we could 4 bet pre - but my hand does really poorly against a shove; and i dont like 4 bet/fold
3)on the flop, we could check/call; but since villian knows we dont have AAxx (as we already do 4 bet with them), villian could just double barrel very effectivley on A high flops
4)I ended up check/raise the flop - as i really dont like all the other options. Big spew?
