The villains is playing 23/15/7 over 1.4k hands and has 7.3% 3 bet from the SB...on review of this hand I'm thinking that there is a lot of merit to folding to the 3bet pre-flop against a pretty strong range and with a hand that doesn't have many strengths in 3 bet pots (3 of same suit, not very connected, an ace).

Is there logic to this or is my hand strong enough to justify a flat in position?

Not really sure what to do postflop to be honest lol!  Granted its not the best flop for me but with a back door nut flush draw (I'm sure this has more value in smaller pots though), top pair, position and reasonable odds I elected to call his bet.  I'm a bit worried that some of my 2 pair outs might give him a straight (or he only stacks if it has made him a straight / stronger 2 pair).

On the turn I have picked up some nut equity, but I think it is safe to assume very little fold equity (he nearly potted the turn also) - so flat and fold any missed river...or should this hand have been in the muck a long time ago?

Any feedback appreciated :D

Steve
