hello.

in this hand, MP had JT76cccs

Maybe I should have called his push.

My question here: Was his pot bet right play on turn? I think its a little bit overplay.

Firstly i think we can 3bet this pre.
On the flop i think we can just go with our hand, MP has a hand that he wants to go with, we block most sets and we have the NFD.

On the turn our hand is too strong to fold, while picking up a better 2 pair we also have a 2nd FD to go with our NFD. We most certainly have more than 33% eq

We're deep and oop, I would just call preflop. Would also just check/call on the flop. We only have top and bottom pair right now, but great equity. But I'm really not sure about the flop. Maybe the best way is to get it in. Against his big reraise I would call too, afraid of sets. (which he still can have even if we have the J and 5 blocker). The turn bet we would have to call after a check/call would then be smaller, as played I would still just check/call the turn. His play screams a set. The river would be player dependent, maybe we can check hoping to induce, since he seems to be in the shove mode and it seems hard to get any worse to call a river bet. That's my 2 cent.

And I also think it's overplay, maybe more like spewing. He only has top 2 on a wet board, with only 4 outs to a boat

I had to check the hand history five times to make sure I saw right.

You need 35% or so to get it in. You have top2 and 2 flushdraws. So you have 45% equity versus JJ. Against 77 you are even with 50% equity!
