Villain is a very loose player. He likes raising with a wide range pf and at times just calls. He also has a tendency to donk lead on the flop a lot with an assumable wide range as well.

He is 35/12 with a 2.1 aggression factor.

So here I decided to isolate him with a weak hand hoping to make a set. But in hindsight it's probably a bad idea since I'd have a hard time making him fold if we miss. BUT lo and behold we hit bottom set. Nice!

So we cb and gets called. That's expected. But then on the turn...??? Are we sticking this in his face?

I mean, this is tough. I've been playing mostly tight and he knows we have AA** majority of the time here (or maybe not), and yet he donk leads in to me. We call?

Jam. You block AKJ. And he's raising 12% so 3betting is very bad, might be bad against any opponent 100bbs deep ip vs utg. He seems quite in line by fish reggish stats at these stakes. It's only cause all the other regs are nits that he seems loose.

Do you think it's particlarly hard for him to have a straight here?

Well since he leads strong there's no reason that he didn't turn strong also he seems a bit of a fish that could be overvaluing some hands. Also you don't block the Ad or KJ as i've said so it's not inconceivable to think that he turned some really nutty looking hand against your perceived range and decided to push for value/not give you free cards. Ofc he could have a straight but i think of it this way - if he has AJK/Q he's getting it in as bad as you are against his KQs and add to that the type of player and likelihood of some other hands i think it's a "he has it, so be it" spot. Oh and since you already noticed some tendencies of his i'm thinking he plays somewhat regularly, this is the best hand to be curious with and find out a little bit of info, well second best after KQ, much better than AA though. I'm folding AA/JJ.
