No solid reads on villain but he is 81/15 with a 1.2 aggression factor and seems to call a lot with a wide range. I feel like I put myself in a tough spot by betting on the turn. Should we have checked instead?
And on the river, as played what would you do?
Should we have made a blocking bet instead?

blocking kings and the Tc it's tough. If he was a regular fish i'd call for info but default is a fold i think. He can easily just call call 2p and when you check he gets the green light that you don't have sets so he bets.
The question is, why are we double barreling? What does it accomplish besides making mediocre draws fold?
We block many of villains potential double float / bluff river hands, as we have a high club in our hand as well as 2 K forh is KJxx combos. So I would fold, even tough I would expect villain to raise his nutted combos OTF or OTT:
