SB: $53.44 (Hero)

UTG folds, HJ folds, CO raises to $0.85, BN folds, Hero raises to $2.80, BB calls $2.55, CO calls $1.95
Flop ($8.50) A T 9 (3 Players)
Hero bets $5.47, BB calls $5.47, CO folds
Turn ($19.44) A T 9 5 (2 Players)

I was a little unsure if I should be trying to induce with this hand.  In this spot the villain was more on the passive side so I do not think that he would float flop / bluff turn so I barreled, but is this hand strong enough here to induce?  I just felt that when I bet I am only going to fold out all the hands that I have crushed 9+:GS:hh type of hands but really did not like the idea of the flop checking through.

So in short against an aggressive opponent do we x/c turn and passive players jam for value/protection?  Hand might be best as always a jam but I find that I am too aggressive in spots and really trying to work on inducing and not over playing hands.

In game I often jam here trying to get him to fold equity (30-50% equity like A567ss, 9876)
